Medicare

For people 65 and older. A federal program covering some, but not all medical needs; no long-term care, dental or hearing coverage. Senior needs to make sure doctor accepts Medicare payment.

  • Part A will cover hospital stays
  • Part B will cover medical service & outpatient care; a monthly premium does apply.
  • Part D offers some prescription drug coverage; a monthly premium does apply
